What affects the price
Five things move the number.
- Window size and shape.Bay windows, angled tops, and skylights need more labour and sometimes bespoke tracks.
- Fabric choice.A premium linen curtain fabric can be 3× the price of a base weave. We'll show you the cost trade at consult.
- Operation.Chain drive is cheapest; cordless spring, crank, and motorisation each add cost. Motorisation typically adds $180–$350 per blind.
- Fitting complexity.Plaster ceilings needing cable runs, or shutters into rimu joinery, take longer to install.
- Warranty tier.Some ranges carry a 10-year warranty, shutters carry 15 years on the frame. Where we can, we quote the longer-warranty option.
